Description
This coat was produced as a costume for the 2016 ‘Now and Then’ Fashion Event at the Chocolate Factory, Dublin. It was inspired by the narratives and characters within Shakespeare’s ‘Richard III’. Patched and pieced from numerous fragments, vintage fabrics and stitched artworks the coat was then quilted with the signature differential shrinkage techniques before each individual pattern piece was bound together.
